Our dear friend and colleague, Tsegezeab Mezgebe who served as a dedicated staff member at Aksum University, tragically passed away while residing in Germany. Tsegezeab was not just a colleague; he was a cherished friend, an esteemed archaeologist, and a dedicated teacher in his profession.

In the wake of this devastating loss, we are reaching out to all of you to be with his family and loved ones during this difficult time in sending his body back to his home country by contributing towards the cost of transportation.
