Funeral Solidarity, Dignity for Our Deceased

The TAHARA Association, serving the deceased for several years, has the mission of taking care of the deceased through ritual funeral care.

But this is not its only mission; it also conducts searches for the families of isolated deceased persons and funds funerals for bereaved families in precarious situations as well as for deceased persons without family.

Here is a France 2 report on our actions:

Deaths are increasing and requests are becoming more and more numerous. Burials and repatriations are not free and represent a significant cost for households.

Unfortunately, we do not have the means to meet all these requests.

Today, we need you to fulfill this fardh kifaya (community obligation) so that our brothers and sisters can be buried with dignity.

Here is also an interview with our President, Abdesamad Akrach:

This funeral solidarity fund will be used to pay mortuary fees, concessions, burials, repatriations, maintenance of our solidarity hearse, consumable and protective materials for our ritual care teams, as well as our care.
