Giving a Quran to the most deprived is one of the noble deeds. Indeed, there is great benefit both for the donor and for the beneficiary. The latter can benefit from reading and reflecting on the Quran and as for you, you will be rewarded for a good deed for every letter read.

The Prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allâh will receive one good deed that will be multiplied. I do not say that ‘Alef, Lam, Mim’ is one letter but ‘Alef’ (A) is a letter, ‘Lam’ (L) is a letter and ‘Mim’ (M) is a letter.” [Reported by Al-Tirmidhi]**

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

"When the son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an end except in three things:

- A continuing charity.

- Knowledge from which people benefit.

- A pious child who prays for him."
