The AEDs of Lycée Jules Guesde are on strike to denounce the ongoing deterioration of their working conditions: understaffing, structural precarity, permanent work overload.
There are only 8 AEDs on average per day to supervise 2,800 students, of whom 2 are assigned each day to fixed duties. This staffing level has remained the same while the number of students has increased by more than 1,000 in a few years. This situation endangers our health and has a direct impact on the quality of student support, who also suffer from this lack of human resources.
Our demands are clear:
• **Immediate reinforcement of staff,
• Salary increases,
• Conversion to permanent contracts (CDI) and automatic renewal for AEDs who wish it,
• An end to precarious employment.**
But going on strike also means suffering a loss of pay.
This strike fund aims to allow us to mobilize without that being a financial obstacle.
