Dear brothers and sisters,
Alhamdulillah, the Attakwa Mosque is a blessed place where we gather to pray, learn and strengthen our faith. Today, Allah ﷻ gives us the opportunity to expand our mosque through the purchase of a new three-storey building, equipped with an elevator, a large balcony, a garden, and a basement floor composed of several rooms. These rooms can be used as classrooms for learning the Qur'an, as well as for educational and community activities.
Each floor includes large rooms, a kitchen, bedrooms and private bathrooms, allowing us to meet the varied needs of our community. This new space will offer:
Larger prayer halls to accommodate more worshippers, especially during Jumu'ah and the major festivals (Eid).
Spaces dedicated to teaching the Qur'an and religious knowledge for our children and youth.
A more suitable venue for the social, educational and cultural activities of the Muslim community.
Allah ﷻ reminds us in the Qur'an: “Those who build the mosques of Allah are only those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah and fear none but Allah.” (Surah At-Tawbah, v.18)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Participating in this project is investing in the Hereafter and leaving a waqf (continuous charity) whose rewards will continue as long as the mosque is used.
Each of your donations, small or large, counts with Allah. As the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Save yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date.”
(Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Dear brothers and sisters, seize this blessed opportunity: help us build a house for Allah ﷻ and prepare a dwelling in Paradise, insha'Allah.
