This fundraising does not accept donations anymore.
I'm not usually one to create a fundraiser, but sometimes life presents urgent situations that make you change your mind...
I am a primary school teacher in an ULIS class at a school in Aulnay Sous Bois and I welcome children with motor disabilities. Last April, I welcomed little Wissam, 10 years old. Wissam has a degenerative myopathy, in other words, she is gradually losing the use of her muscles. She can no longer walk and will soon be unable to use her arms. She is now confined to a wheelchair.
You should know that Wissam is a true ray of sunshine, always smiling and very lively despite her great ordeal.
Last Friday, her condition suddenly worsened and she was hospitalized.
I went to the hospital to visit her and what I learned chilled me to the bone: while talking with the father, I found out that they had no roof over their heads and that for several days, he had been sleeping with Wissam in a car! The father also hadn't eaten for 2 days. Out of modesty, the father never told me about how precarious their situation was and never asked for help. Today they are "housed" in the hospital room but tomorrow??
They have no family here and I have committed to supporting them with all their future procedures.
I appeal to you and your generosity to help Wissam and her dad.
Any form of help is welcome, whether material, food, clothing or financial.
Wissam is currently being cared for in the hospital.
For those who wish to visit or who want additional information, I leave my email address: [email protected] (without the spaces)
I am counting on all of you so that Wissam can keep her legendary smile for as long as possible.
Many thanks in advance.
L'enfance éprouvée et sa résilience face à la maladie sont une leçon de sagesse et de méditation pour nous adulte. Tout mon respect
