PROJECT TO PURCHASE A MOSQUE IN THE BASSIN DE POMPEY

The Muslim community of the Bassin de Pompey has been praying for about thirty years in a room of a building in a residence, where the worshippers are exclusively men because the room is too small to accommodate women.
Since the change of ownership of the residence, we risk being expelled at any time. In addition, the current conditions no longer meet safety standards. It is therefore very important for us to see our own proper place of worship established.
AJSBP (Association Jeunesse Solidaire du Bassin de Pompey) was created in 2015 with the aim of urgently finding a place of worship to welcome brothers and sisters. After 4 years of searching, today Alhamdulillah we have signed the preliminary sales agreement for a 300 m² building with parking located in the industrial zone near Varois in CUSTINES, valued at €200,000.
According to Othmane (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him its equivalent in Paradise.”
(Reported by Muslim in his Sahih no. 533).
The Prophet (صلّى الله عليه و سلّم) said: “When the son of Adam dies, all his deeds stop except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a pious child who prays for him.” Reported by Muslim.
Mosques are the houses of Allah on earth. Building one falls under the category of "Sadaqa Jariya: ongoing charity" if it is built with:
1- Ikhlas (sincerity) — seeking only the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala —
2- al-mutaba'ah (following the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him)
And remember that there is no small donation: whatever the amount of your gift, it will be counted in your balance, as the verse of the Holy Quran in Surah Az-Zalzalah (99) says, "Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it."
