Since 1986, it has been possible to adopt a bench in Central Park, in other words to pay $10,000 (i.e. €8,760) to have a personalized plaque on a bench in the park of your choice. You should know that this money allows Central Park to maintain the park's 9,000 benches but also the green spaces, the paths...
And for us, it will allow us to have "OUR" own bench!
Thanks to SĂ©verine's idea, a French Yorker, we are launching this fundraiser so that we can adopt a bench in Central Park and make it "the bench of the French Yorkers"!!!!
We will be able to meet there, sit there, lie down there, take photos in front of it… in short it will be our new meeting place and we can do whatever we want there! :-)
So I invite you to give whatever amount you want to participate in this fundraiser launched by the French Yorkers.
Please note that this fundraiser is a continuation of the one that was on PayPal. We had managed to raise €5,694 of the €8,600. So €3,066 still needs to be raised.
