Hello everyone,
I was waiting for the start of the year to announce my next project: heading to Senegal!
On January 26, I fly out to the association "Partage d'Espoir".
Founded in 2014, its aims are: "to promote the exchange of culture and experiences in Senegal; to contribute to the funding of solidarity projects in collaboration with the local population, in the fields of health and education."
After Togo, Madagascar, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, here I go again for new adventures. It’s time to share, create, and build connections with new children.
I will be staying in Fissel, a small commune of 3,400 inhabitants.
One school, 700 children, two projects.
Education and sport.
For 3 weeks, I will be alongside the teachers providing sports teaching as well as school lessons.
This fundraiser is created solely for them. Every euro counts.
Your donations will be used for the following actions:
Renovation of a classroom, creation of a slab + painting
Improvement of the water system to allow all pupils to drink
Purchase of sports equipment as well as various materials for small school repairs
Daily snacks for the youngest children
The remainder of the fund will be allocated to the association for future projects
To tell you a little more about me for those who are discovering me, I’ll introduce myself in a few lines.
My name is Alicia, I’m 28 years old and I am from Chambéry.
I am a sports educator in the Chambéry area and I work with different groups.
For a year and a half now I have also been a specialized educator in an emergency shelter for child protection.
All my professional and personal experiences lead me today to travel each year on humanitarian trips to be useful, help others and plant a few seeds abroad.
Once again I call on your support, because together we accomplish beautiful things.
It is also thanks to you that these projects have been carried out for 5 years and thanks to you that I find the energy to leave again each year.
