Un parcours de 10 ans avec cette Maladie :

Mon père a 61 ans,  il est marié et père de 4 enfants. Le premier diagnostic de sa maladie de Parkinson remonte à 2009,  il a été suivi par une Neurologue qui lui a prescrit un traitement lui convenant plus ou moins.

Puis, un matin de février 2013, nous découvrions un papa complètement handicapé, incapable de se lever et de marcher comme il faisait auparavant. Je ne réaliserais pas ce qui se passait. On a compris, plus tard, que cette maladie est chroniques et évolutive, et qu'il ne pourra jamais repartir travailler.

Durant l'hiver de 2014, on a réussi à le faire rentrer dans https://annumed.sante-dz.com/detail/etablissements-hospitaliers-specialises-ehs/ehs-des-urgences-salim-zemirli, le seul centre spécialisé en Algérie en ce genre de maladie, il a été hospitalisé durant quelques jours (http://www.imnc-bordeaux.org/3-informations-sur-les-examens-complementaires-test-a-la-levodopa.html, IRM,...ect) afin de savoir s'il était candidat à une intervention chirurgicale ou pas (car pas tous les parkinsoniens sont candidats) et comme stipulé dans le compte-rendu et la lettre d'orientation de son Neurologue (image en dessous), Makhlouf est candidat à l'opération de STIMULATION CEREBRALE PROFONDE (Vidéo explicative https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53uRWKZ_934).

Entre 2014 et juin 2019 il continuait la prise de médicament, actuellement il a des complications motrices post thérapeutiques. En 2016 et en 2017 on a essayé de le faire venir en France pour se faire opérer, mais dans les deux reprises, on a eu un refus de visa, entre temps les symptômes de la maladie s'aggravaient progressivement tels que des tremblements, une rigidité des membres et une diminution des mouvements du corps..ect.

بين عامي 2014 و يونيو 2019 واصل تناول الأدوية. حاليًا لديه مضاعفات حركية. في عامي 2016 و 2017 حاولنا إحضاره لفرنسا لإجراء العملية الجراحية ، ولكن في المحاولتين رفضت التأشيرة ، وفي الوقت نفسه تدهورت أعراض المرض تدريجياً مثل الرعشة و تصلب الأطراف بطئ شديد جدا لحركة الجسم ... إلخ

My father is 61 years old, he is married and father of 4 children. The first diagnosis of his Parkinson's disease dates back to 2009, he was followed by a Neurologist who prescribed a treatment more or less suitable for him.

Then, one morning in February 2013, we discovered a completely disabled dad, unable to get up and walk like he did before. I would not realize what was going on. We understood later that this disease is chronic and progressive, and that he can never go back to work.

During the winter of 2014, we managed to get him into the EHS ZMIRLI Salim hospital, the only center in Algeria specializing in this kind of disease, he was hospitalized for a few days (Dopa test, MRI, ... Etc) in order to know if he was a candidate for a surgical intervention or not (because not all parkinsonians are candidates) and as stipulated in the report and the letter of orientation of his Neurologist (image below), Makhlouf is candidate for the DEEP CEREBRAL STIMULATION operation (Explanatory video HERE).

Between 2014 and June 2019 he continued taking medication, currently he has post-therapeutic motor complications. In 2016 and 2017 we tried to bring him to France to have surgery, but we had a visa refusal for two times, meanwhile the symptoms of the disease worsened progressively such as tremors, rigidity limbs and decreased body movement… Etc.
