As-salamo alaykoum Dear Brothers, Dear Sisters,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him its equivalent in Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim 533]
Al HamdouliLlah! This year again, Allah (The Most High) allowed us to fast this blessed month of Ramadan and among His blessings, He allows us to pray in our new mosque!
Thanks to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala), and then by your support, we have been able to make progress on the project. However, we are still operating under a temporary permit issued by the Town Hall for a duration of one month.
Also, as every year, we are collecting the funds that will allow us to further advance the project.
This year's collection aims, in shaa Allah, to finance the following items:
- Repayment of the 8,000 euros debt lent by a brother during last Ramadan.
- Completion of the ventilation section and commissioning.
- Final compliance upgrades to the current new premises for accessibility for persons with reduced mobility.
- Launch of studies for the second phase of the project.
- Preparation of access for persons with reduced mobility via the parking area (terrace and access ramp).
- Purchase and installation of the pergola planned on the front facade.
- Installation of a temporary prefabricated ablution room.
- Start of earthworks in preparation for the major construction works of phase 2 of the project.
- Purchase of association furniture (bookcases for the prayer rooms and office furniture).
- Purchase of equipment for Arabic and Quran classes (tables, chairs, boards...)
We set a fundraising target of 60,000 euros during this month of Ramadan.
May Allah choose each of us to participate in this collection and may He further realize our project.
This is an opportunity for sadaqa for us, our relatives and our deceased! (may Allah grant them peace and mercy)
