As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Ramadan Mubarak to everyone.
May Allah grant us sincerity, perseverance and success, and allow us to fully benefit from this blessed month 🤲🏻

In this Ramadan 2026, we first and foremost wish to warmly thank all the people who have contributed to the Mosquée des Rochers project, whether near or far:
through a donation, a kind word, a share, a helping hand, a contact, or simply a sincere invocation.
Every gesture counts, and by the grace of Allah, each has contributed to this work.

Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah and then to your mobilization, the project has progressed enormously.
Today, the building is water- and wind-tight:

the exterior finishing has been completed,

the joineries have been installed,

only the roof-terrace waterproofing remains temporary, pending the final stage.

These concrete advances are the result of years of effort, patience and trust in Allah.

🔨 Next steps of the site

To continue and finalize the construction, several essential works remain to be carried out:

-thermal insulation of the roof-terrace before the final waterproofing,

-construction of the interior staircases,

-installation of plumbing and electrical networks,

-installation of partitions (plasterboard) and wall coatings.

-painting, etc.

These steps are essential to make the building functional, safe and welcoming, especially for worshippers and children.

🤲 Tawakkul and taking the means

We place our trust in Allah The Most High, while undertaking the causes He has commanded us.
Did He not say to Maryam (alayhā salām):

“Shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.”
(Surah Maryam)

Although He could have made them fall without effort, Allah commanded her to act.
Likewise, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Strive for that which benefits you, seek the help of Allah and do not give up." (reported by Muslim)

Not giving up means continuing to act, to solicit, to share and to support.

🌙 Call for Ramadan 2026

In this blessed month, we humbly turn to you again to continue this work together.
The cost of the works remains high and increases over time, but with the help of Allah and then the support of the community, we are convinced that this project will be completed.
