ASSOCIATION : **
Who are we?
The Annour association of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre was founded by Muslims living in the La Ferté area (may Allah reward them) in 2012, and registered at the sub-prefecture of Meaux. Annour is a non-profit, non-political association governed by the French Law of 1901. Its headquarters are located at 25 avenue Franklin Roosevelt 7720 La Ferté sous Jouarre.
Annour is a cultural and religious association that receives no subsidies and is funded by its members' contributions and private donations from individuals.
Annour is run by a committee that administers the association and ensures its ongoing operations as volunteers.
Objectives of the association
Annour aims to enable Muslims of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre and neighboring municipalities to fulfill their religious duties: performing daily prayers and salat el djoumouâa - Friday prayer -, acquiring and managing Muslim places of worship, education and teaching, celebrating religious festivals…
THE PROJECT **
After several years spent in rented premises, and faced with the growing number of worshippers for Friday prayer and the desire to receive them in the best possible conditions, Annour has decided to embark on a noble project: acquiring a property suitable for its needs, with a view to building a new mosque in the commune of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre.
Creating a more spacious place of worship that meets the community's expectations first requires bringing Muslims together to carry this project together with faith and conviction.
Allah (Exalted) tells us in the Quran:
- And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in punishment. [Surah 5 - Verse 2 ]
The Prophet (صلّى الله عليه و سلّم) said:
- _Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise._ [Hadith reported by Muslim]
The Annour association is launching an appeal for donations to support a project to acquire a property. If you too wish to contribute to this endeavor, you can
make a donation for this project via this campaign.
