As-Salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

Dear sisters, dear brothers,

We sincerely hope that this message finds you and your loved ones in very good health, Insha'Allah.

We are happy to announce the reopening of the fundraising campaign for the expansion of our Mosque.

In this year 2024, more than ever we see that our warm mosque has become far too small for our community.

As the blessed month shifts each year, it progressively falls into winter and the use of outdoor spaces becomes increasingly difficult (cold, rain, …). It has therefore become urgent to make progress on our project and, as you can see, we have started the construction site and Alhamdulillah the foundations have been poured and the walls are beginning to rise.

As a reminder, this important project will allow us to benefit from:

- A large prayer hall for women

- More spaces for prayer on the men's side

- More rooms to welcome children and teenagers

- More space to organize the major moments of our religion (for Friday prayers and Tarawih)

- A suitable kitchen to manage various events.

The Project:

- Approximately 350 m2 of construction

- On a plot of 12.5 ares

The cost:

- Estimated at €550,000 Insha'Allah

Let us make many invocations and du'as so that Allah helps us realize it.

Let us invest ourselves in this project which will benefit us in this life and in the Hereafter.

A project for us and for those after us, a necessary project that has been close to all our hearts for so long.

"And whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will find it with Allah; He sees well whatever you do." (S. 2 – V. 110)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." [Sahih Muslim 533]

The month of Ramadan is the best opportunity to multiply rewards.

Sadaqah:

- Wards off misfortunes

- Helps heal our sick

- And when given secretly, it extinguishes the anger of the Lord

Let us give Sadaqah for Allah, for ourselves, our parents, our family, those who have left us, for the Ummah.

How to participate in this beautiful project?

- Each according to their means and every euro counts

- Directly at the mosque

- With your time, your skills, by joining the members of the association

- By making many du'as

- And of course by contributing to this fundraising campaign

Don't forget that your donations give the right to tax reductions:

For individuals:

The tax reduction is 66% of the amount of donations. The reduction applies within the limit of 20% of taxable income.

Some examples:

For a donation of €200, you are entitled to a tax reduction of: €132 (200 € x 66%). You will therefore actually pay €68 (200 - 132 = 68)

If I make a donation of €10,000, next year I will benefit from a reduction of €6,600 on the net amount of taxes to be paid.

Companies also benefit from a 60% reduction under certain conditions (check with your accountant).

We ask Allah Ta'ala to protect and preserve us. May Allah accept our deeds and forgive our sins. Ameen.
