This fundraising does not accept donations anymore.
As every Ramadan for several years now, the Association "De Bon Coeur" is collecting your donations to organize and distribute Iftar (breaking of the fast) meals for the students of the university residences in Mulhouse.
150 meals will be distributed daily starting mid-February and for one month. We estimate the cost of these 150 daily meals at approximately €250. So, for €250 donated, 150 meals will be funded, Insha'Allah, thanks to your generosity. You can also make a donation of any amount.
Furthermore, this fundraiser will also collect Fidya.
What is Fidya?
If you cannot fast because you are ill, pregnant, or traveling, it is always preferable to make up your missed fast days, but those among us who are unable to fast—such as the elderly, people undergoing treatment, or breastfeeding women—should give fidya. It amounts to €9 per day and must be paid for each day not fasted. Thus for 30 days, it amounts to €270.
