As-salamu alaykum
Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah and to the generosity of Muslims, we have become the owners of the house that was made available to us by the town hall of Palaiseau (91120) for performing our prayers.
In order for the faithful to continue to practice their faith with dignity, we have taken steps to obtain the status of 'Mosque'.
We received two letters from the prefecture informing us that we must bring the premises up to safety standards because we are not, in fact, an establishment authorized to host the public.
Renovation works to comply with the standards are therefore necessary.
Implementing these (emergency exits, access ramps, etc.) will allow us to welcome you safely.
The prayer room has become too small to accommodate all the worshippers; work is also necessary to expand the premises.
The house of Allah needs you. And you need it!

Today, what we have in our bank account remains here. In reality it is what we give that we truly possess. We will, in sha Allah, find this charity on the day when we will greatly need it.
