As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
My beloved brothers and sisters. During last Ramadan in 2020, by the Grace of Allah and His immense Mercy, and then by your support, we were able to meet the needs of more than 23,000 Muslim men and women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo to break their fast. For 4 years now you have accompanied us in carrying out this benefaction; over the years the number of those fasting has continued to multiply and this work is growing ever more in both countries. Among these fasting people are widows, orphans, the elderly, converts who are oppressed and rejected by their relatives, Muslim prisoners and many others.
We wish to renew this action with the arrival of the blessed month of the year 2021, adapting to the safety rules imposed due to the health situation. Indeed, confinement is in force in some areas. Our mission, for the Noble Face of Allah, will be to provide foodstuffs to our brothers and sisters for the breaking of the fast and to organize meals in the mosques during this blessed month of Ramadan in the two Congos.
We praise Allah the Merciful for all His blessings.
It is in order to carry out this work that we seek the help of Allah and then yours to accomplish this good deed, whose reward is great.
Do not forget that:
According to Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhni (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "He who feeds a fasting person for the breaking of the fast will have the same reward as him without that detracting anything from the reward of the fasting person."
(Reported by Tirmidhi in his Sunan no. 807, which he authenticated, and it was also authenticated by Sheikh Albani in his correction of Sunan Tirmidhi)
