LET'S HELP 100 ORPHANS GROW UP IN DIGNITY

A home for the orphans of Senegal

The association Au Cœur du Partage is carrying today a project of paramount importance in the Thiès region, Senegal: the construction of an orphanage intended to accommodate nearly 100 children who have lost their parents.

Thanks to Allah and to your generosity, the most difficult part is already accomplished.

Since Ramadan 2025, 268 674 € have been collected and invested directly on the ground. Thanks to Allah, the foundations have been laid and the main structural work is now completed.

The walls are there, the building has taken shape. But one final step remains, and it is decisive: the finishing work and the fitting out, to turn these walls into a true home where the children can finally live. For this orphanage was designed as a home, not as a mere building.
It will host separate dormitories for girls and boys, designed in a mirrored layout that guarantees respect, privacy and equal treatment for all.

The children will find there much more than a roof:
- classrooms to learn,
- play areas to regain the joy of childhood,
- visiting lounges to maintain the emotional bonds they so need to rebuild themselves and move forward serenely in life.

Where do we stand?

The total cost of the project amounts to 486 838 €, more than half of which has already been financed thanks to Allah and to the generosity of donors.

Main structural work : 241 000 € : completed ✅
- Additional fees (studies, transport, contingencies) to be financed
- Finishing work (floors, electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry) : 154 000 € — to be financed ⏳
- Furnishing & equipment (beds, storage, equipping the spaces) : 82 231 € — to be financed ⏳

We therefore still need 236 231 € to raise to bring the project to completion and welcome the children in the best conditions.

The Prophet ﷺ said :

“Me and the one who takes care of an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” then he brought his index and middle finger together.*
