An adapted vehicle for a new life

Hello

My name is Abdel Aziz, I’m 30 years old and I have lived all my life with cerebral palsy (CP).

My disability notably prevents me from getting around on my own, but I always try to do my best. It’s my motto in life.

Three years ago, my mother passed away. She held an immense place in my life.

Since then, my brothers and sisters have naturally stepped in to allow me to continue living surrounded by my family, rather than going to a care home. Thanks to them, I can attend my appointments, handle administrative procedures, participate in activities… simply continue living. ❤️

But every trip has become a real ordeal.

🚗 Today, I cannot get into a car with my wheelchair.

For each journey, I have to leave my wheelchair and contort myself to get into the vehicle despite my hemiplegia and hip malformation.

On their side, my brothers and sisters constantly have to carry, load and unload my wheelchairs, manual or electric.

Over time, their backs and necks suffer.

I see their fatigue. And I know this situation cannot last forever.

🙏 That’s why I need your help.

An adapted vehicle would finally allow me to get in directly with my wheelchair and to travel in better conditions.

This vehicle would not simply mean more comfort.

It would allow me to go out more, gain autonomy and physically relieve my brothers and sisters, who have done so much for me since the passing of our mother.

After all these years of adapting, I would simply like my trips to be adapted to me as well.
