Let's help our 88-year-old aunt rebuild after the fire

Hello everyone,

On Tuesday, September 1, a violent fire broke out in the hamlet of Praranger, in the commune of Les Belleville, in Savoie. Despite the intervention of 42 firefighters and 13 emergency vehicles, three homes were affected.

Among the victims is my great-aunt, 88 years old, whose house was ravaged by the flames, as can be seen in the photos.

Thank God, she is safe and sound. However, she was only able to recover her identity papers and has lost her clothes, furniture, personal belongings and all the memories accumulated over the course of her life. She is currently staying with her son.

I am launching this fundraiser to help her meet the most urgent needs and to replace essentials: clothing, everyday products and essential equipment. The goal is to provide her with a bit of support and comfort while her insurance claim is processed, as the procedures and compensation can take time.

Everyone is free to contribute according to their means. No donation is too small: every contribution will be precious to help her begin to rebuild after this terrible ordeal.
