Dear Madam, Sir,
I am reaching out to you to get my 40-year-old son out of a desperate situation, both physically (physically disabled after a motorcycle accident) and psychologically (he is very lonely, completely isolated and receives the social minimums (the adult disability allowance) ... which do not allow him to come back to his family) ... namely me, his mother, who is desperate not to be able to help him because I have only a very small pension and I am ill with multiple sclerosis.
We are therefore both in a critical and precarious situation, even dangerous, with dark thoughts.
My son is in Gironde in France, and I am in Amiens in the Somme department.
He is, for his part, taking all the necessary steps with social workers to come and live with me so that we can help each other, but moving and re-establishing himself in Amiens costs a lot of money. He is exhausted...
I appeal to your kindness so that we can be reunited in the best possible conditions.
I am well aware of all the misery in the world but we no longer know where to turn.
I appeal to your generosity (renting a truck for 800 km, fuel, housing deposit, one month’s rent = it adds up very quickly, approx. 5000€ min), ... to your kindness and I can no longer find the words to try to believe that one day all this will be possible.
