The implementation of the Research Programming Act (LPR), adopted during the lockdown and against the will of the Higher Education and Research community, as well as repressive laws currently under discussion (the Global Security Law and the law on 'separatisms'), will have a disastrous impact on public universities and research organizations. The ESR community mobilized strongly against the LPR before the March lockdown. In Strasbourg, staff were on strike for a long period. For the most precarious among us, financial concerns are an obstacle to striking. This fund aims to financially support those who will go on strike when universities reopen their doors to students.
