Dodie is a small 6-year-old dog who hasn't had any luck in life. Abandoned once in a shelter at the age of 2, she was adopted by a woman who never cared for her and is now being given up in a deplorable state of health. This poor little dog suffers from severe skin problems (dermatitis) due to a very long lack of care. Her skin resembles that of an old elephant and her ears, which have ear infections, are filled with swollen lumps of flesh.
This fundraiser is for anyone who wishes to contribute to her upcoming care. She has never been vaccinated nor seen by a veterinarian since leaving the shelter and will need blood tests and to be spayed.
We are recognized as being of public interest and your donations are tax-deductible at a rate of 60%.
