Gigi, a small 10-year-old Yorkshire, belonged to a 98-year-old couple. When she was taken into our association's care, she arrived in poor condition. Gigi had a mammary tumor the size of a large kiwi and was trying in vain to urinate every 10 seconds. An X-ray revealed countless bladder stones and a urinary infection. Further examinations by ultrasound then showed a dilated uterus beginning a metritis, so it was urgent to operate on these serious conditions.
The cost of the major surgeries came to €998.39 (invoice attached) after a 20% discount was applied.
This call for donations is posted online to help us pay the bill for her operation.
