Mojito is a very sweet 12-year-old male Yorkshire terrier taken in by our association who has just had a bad accident: while playing with a sock he had found, he swallowed it, and the sock — measuring 15–20 cm — migrated into his intestine and subsequently caused necrosis in two separate places. To save him, he had to be hospitalized and undergo emergency surgery, which represented a total cost of 1250 euros after the association discount.
