We took in three small Chihuahuas and a toy Spitz that were cowardly abandoned in a small travel carrier in front of a veterinary clinic, with their medical records and a note from their owner stating she no longer wanted them. All were in poor condition and one of them, 9 years old (Muffy), even had to be euthanized shortly after (pictured on the right) because he had been suffering for many months from cancer of the throat and the soft palate. Narco (on the left in the photo), who is 8 years old, suffers greatly in his cervical vertebrae following an untreated fall. We had to urgently perform an MRI on him which cost 1037 euros. Narco has since been placed on an appropriate treatment that effectively relieves him. He was neutered and had a dental cleaning this morning because he had an ectopic testicle that risked becoming a cancerous tumor.
