The impoverishment of families with no resources in the Gaza Strip is worsening. Unemployment has exceeded 65% of the population due to the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupier and the coronavirus. At the start of this particularly harsh winter, with houses demolished by bombings and the absence of electricity, we want to make a gesture for the most destitute families by allowing them, as during Ramadan, to buy essential goods.
We also want to help, through this fundraiser, the activists in Hebron who are being imprisoned and harassed because they spend their time protecting the population, especially children, from attacks by Israeli settlers and the army. Their isolation has become even more terrible since Netanyahu banned the presence of international observers in that city. Let's support their activities!
