We care about the future of Palestinian children
Nasser Hospital in Gaza, specialized in pediatrics, no longer has an echocardiograph for its neonatal intensive care unit. Its device has been broken for two years.
We are appealing to your generosity to help finance a new machine that will allow its doctors to make diagnoses and care for the little patients entrusted to this referral hospital for the entire Gaza Strip.
The device costs 18.000 euros, excluding transport, which will be covered by the Italian association Research Group on New Weapons (GRNA), made up of scientists who study the impact of Israeli attacks and notably the residues of their chemical weapons on the health of Gaza's inhabitants. In addition to its research, whose results are published in scientific journals, this group has, since 2012, managed to procure several medical equipments for Shifa Hospital and Nasser Hospital.
It is therefore in association with these Italian friends that we are launching this new fundraiser to provide this equipment to Nasser Pediatric Hospital (Gaza City), whose neonatal unit is headed by Dr Shirine Abed.
