In the city of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, where 250,000 Palestinians are caught in a vice between the Israeli colonial regime and Egypt’s dictator Sissi in its pay, the misery caused by the blockade is particularly severe.
After large-scale house demolitions by Israel from 2003 (we recall the killing of Rachel Corrie, deliberately crushed by an Israeli bulldozer while she was defending the home of a Rafah pharmacist), and then the creation of a “buffer zone” by Sissi, which in 2013 caused ground collapses, the destruction of hundreds of homes “too close to the border” and the destruction of the tunnels, which were the lifeline of the Gaza Strip, life is very hard in Rafah.
That is why the association _Soutien Gaza GSA_, which brings together 30 volunteers and 8 preschool teachers, is striving to help the most disadvantaged children and families (education for children aged 3 to 6 whose families cannot send them to the paid kindergarten, food parcels, summer camps...)
The team, chaired by Mohammed S.H. Shehada, is appealing to us today to come to the aid of about one hundred families who are suffering from hunger and who will soon endure cold and damp.
We want, thanks to you, to respond and send a sum of 100 euros to 100 poor families in Rafah.
They will thus be able to buy warm clothing and food for this winter.
With our thanks in advance, thank you for your donations, according to your means, for these suffering Palestinians!
Anyone can contribute to this fund, whatever the amount. No need to create an account or register, it’s quick and credit card payments are 100% secure.
