A young Afghan woman contacted me on social networks and asked me for help.

Since the Taliban took power, she and her family have been struggling to survive.

I'll explain everything in the illustration:

She and her family can no longer pay for healthcare or housing.

This illustration was created from the photos this Afghan woman sent me and from the conversation I had with her. For reasons you will understand, I must protect her identity.
