🌱 A growing community… and an urgent need
The Muslim community in Namur is growing significantly every year.
Today, our current facilities at the Salam Mosque are no longer sufficient to host us with dignity:
For the Friday prayer, we are forced to organize two Jumu'ah.
During Ramadan, our capacity is far exceeded.
For the education of our children within the Centre Éducatif Espoir, we have had to relocate and rent external spaces, due to lack of room.
This situation is no longer viable in the long term. Action is essential.
🎯 Our goal: acquire land
Acquiring land is the first concrete step towards building a lasting, structured place adapted to the needs of our community.
📍 Our search criteria:
A plot of approximately 3 000 m²
Located within a maximum radius of 7 km from the city center
Close to major roadways
For a maximum budget of €500,000
💰 Where do we stand?
Thanks to your generosity, a large part of the funding has already been raised.
We are now missing €70,000.

Advising the leaders
Refining the strategy
Supporting administrative and technical procedures
And bringing this place to fruition which will become, Insha'Allah, the heart of our spiritual and educational life
🌍 A project for future generations
This future mosque will not only be a place of prayer. It will be:
An education center
A space for transmission
A gathering place
A pillar for our children and generations to come
