Hello everyone,
Our little girl Emma, one year old, suffers from an incurable disease called migrating partial epilepsy. This disease is due to a rare genetic mutation that completely prevents her development and causes her to have numerous daily epileptic seizures.
Emma has already undergone an experimental treatment administered in an attempt to reduce or stop her seizures, but unfortunately it proved ineffective for her.
Since her birth and the onset of her illness, her parents had to stop their respective work as self-employed nurses for several months. While today the father has been able to resume his activity, this is not the case for the mother.
Emma's maternal grandmother has also had to partially stop working to come and help Emma and her parents.
Daily life is punctuated, among other things, by care, increased 24/7 monitoring, management of seizures...
Your donations have allowed and will allow us to continue to support Emma through this ordeal. Everyone gives what they can, if they can.
They will compensate for the cessation of the professional activities of Emma's mother and grandmother.
