After the mobilization of 29 September, the high-school and student mobilizations in October, and the impressive day of 17 October, new mobilization dates are scheduled and will likely multiply:
- Saturday 24 October
- Thursday 5 November at the call of the inter-union CGT/ CFDT / FO / FSU / CFDT / UNSA (and Solidaires and the CFTC on their own calls)
The CGT calls to generalize the strike from 5 November!
Mobilization is also taking hold at the MEN / MESR / MJS central administration! But not everyone dares to strike or always has the means. For this reason, and as we did during the pension movement in 2023, the CGT Educ'action administration centrale is setting up a strike fund.
This strike fund will be funded by the balance of the previous strike fund, voluntary contributions from colleagues, and by the CGT Educ'action administration centrale. The cagnotte serves to top up the strike fund but does not represent the balance of the strike fund.
This strike fund is intended to cover the days of staff who request it (email to cgteducaction.syndicat-ac//@//education.gouv.fr). It will be activated at the time of payroll deductions, upon presentation of the payslip and with a sworn statement of not having used another strike fund. The amounts paid will depend on the rules collectively set for its management once the number of strikers requesting coverage and the number of strike days have been established.
To benefit from the strike fund, one must be personnel paid by the MEN / MESR / MJS central administration.
