as you know, the oil sector was on strike, notably the Esso Fos-sur-Mer refinery, because our national management will grant wage measures that will not cover inflation 2022/2023 and that will reduce the purchasing power of all employees in the group.
This social movement helped to highlight the super-profits generated by our company Esso, the sole fruits of the workers of which they will take only crumbs. The fair sharing of the wealth created must be the watchword of discussions in every company.
We have decided to set up a solidarity fund to financially support staff who exercised their right to strike.
