Ludovic brought to light the circumstances in which Geneviève Legay was injured on March 23, 2019 in Nice during a police operation. His intervention with the media helped restore the truth despite the maneuvers intended to allow those responsible to escape justice.
Ludovic showed courage; his action helped shed light for the justice system, but he remains a victim of his sense of Republican duty.
Indeed, Ludovic has been handed a suspension of 24 months, 12 months of which are without pay, which means in plain terms that he is deprived of salary for 1 year.
CGT-Police fought alongside our comrade Ludovic to avoid the worst, namely his dismissal, and in that we succeeded.
Our organization had to call on the services of a lawyer without whom we would not have succeeded in avoiding Ludovic's dismissal. The fees incurred by our union are substantial and we are calling on the solidarity of all those who, like us, are committed to fighting injustices so that our union can continue its activist activities within the Ministry of the Interior.
