In 2026, in Pakistan, more than 21 million people still do not have access to safe drinking water. Contaminated water poses a real health hazard and causes many diseases.
In Bangladesh, millions of people are also affected by the lack of access to safe water. Arsenic, naturally present in some groundwater, is responsible for serious health problems and around 43 000 deaths per year.
Behind these figures are families, children and women who sometimes have to travel long distances to fetch water. For many young girls, this means less time to go to school and enjoy their childhood.
Creating this fundraiser means a lot to me. I have always donated to organizations whenever I can, because I have always wanted to help people in need.
A simple well can make a real difference: allow families to have access to drinking water, improve their daily lives and offer better living conditions. What may seem ordinary to us is a real necessity for others.
The well will be built either in Pakistan or in Bangladesh, where it will be most useful and can help the most people. 🌏
That's why I want to launch this project. Even if I can't help everyone, I believe that together we can already do a lot.
