The rejection of this reform is massive, as the millions of people on strike and in the streets since January 19 have already shown. A huge number of workers have gone on strike and taken to the streets against this deadly reform, but also for wages and working conditions. We're fed up with leaving our lives to work; we want to enjoy them!
Today, we will have to step things up. 24-hour strikes and mobilizations will not be enough to make Macron back down. All sectors must get involved; there is no reform by proxy, and there will be no proxy strike that can allow us to win a victory.
Railway workers will launch an indefinite strike soon to thwart the government. We call for financial solidarity to launch a large-scale offensive and win this fight in the public interest! And we also call on all sectors to join the battle, with us, to set up strike funds everywhere so we can hold out.
