Let's renovate an institute for 244 children 👧🏽👦🏽

More than 200 children in Indonesia now live in extremely precarious conditions.

In these blessed nights of Ramadan, we need you to help us build them an orphanage, a refuge, where they can grow up and find some serenity.

During our visit to the orphanage / institute in Lombok, Indonesia, we were deeply moved – and shocked – by the children’s living conditions. What we saw is unworthy, unacceptable.

❌ No beds.

❌ Walls covered in mold, on the verge of collapsing.

❌ Parts of the building are open to the sky.

❌ Very little access to water.

📖 The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Me and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this.”

And he joined his index and middle finger. (Reported by Al-Bukhari) 🫰

The children sleep 50 in the same room, often directly on the floor.

No changing rooms. No showers.

The toilets are dilapidated, unsanitary, outside, without light.

You have to walk through the muddy courtyard to reach a single water point.

The classrooms are unusable.

Classes are held outdoors, for lack of a safe structure to host teachers and students.

And there is no space to play. The ground is waterlogged, turned into mud.

The director of the orphanage, overwhelmed by debts, can no longer cope.

And yet, he fights every day to offer these children a minimum of stability.

But he cannot do it alone.

We have decided to act. And we need you 💚

Our goal is clear : to offer these children a dignified future.

And for that, we will:

✅ Renovate and build 15 spacious dormitories

✅ Create 8 equipped classrooms

✅ Install 16 showers for girls, 18 for boys, 2 changing rooms and 12 toilets

✅ Drill a well for clean, long-lasting water

✅ Implement a reliable water and electricity system

✅ Build a multi-sport field for their development

✅ Buy agricultural land (corn plantation) to aim for self-sufficiency

✅ Implement a waste management system (currently burned on-site)

✅ Provide a vehicle for essential trips (some children have never left the orphanage…)

✅ OBJECTIVE 1 : Reach 80 000€ for the initial renovations, and foundations of the sanitary facilities and new dormitories!

✅ OBJECTIVE 2 : Reach 150 000€ for the complete fitting-out of the dormitories and sanitary facilities for the 244 children!

Any additional donations will be used for our sponsorship system to provide meals, care, and supplies to all the children monthly.
