The fourth film in the "Thor" saga, a sequel to "Thor: Ragnarok" (2017).



After the events of the previous films, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself at a crossroads, unsure how to move forward with his life. He leaves Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) as ruler of New Asgard and sets off on a journey with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and the other Guardians of the Galaxy, hoping to rediscover his purpose.



Soon fate brings him together with astrophysicist and former partner Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Foster is undergoing cancer treatment, but in the meantime she becomes the Goddess of Thunder — also known as the "Mighty Thor." This time not only Thor will wield the emblematic hammer Mjolnir!



Thor embarks on a journey unlike any he's taken before — a journey inward in search of inner peace. His tranquility, however, is disturbed by the appearance of the galactic killer Gorr — the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who has sworn to destroy all gods. To deal with the threat, Thor will rely on the help of Valkyrie, Korg (Taika Waititi) and his ex-girlfriend Jane, who — to Thor's great surprise — has somehow managed to master the power of the magical hammer and has become the Mighty Thor. Together they set off on a dangerous cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery behind the God Butcher's desire for revenge and stop him before it's too late.
