Since 2016, CNAPD has been involved in legal actions against the export of arms from Wallonia to certain problematic countries (Libya, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, etc.) and against the transit of arms and military equipment from Belgium to Israel. In July 2025, alongside ABP, two Palestinian citizens and at the initiative of "Droits pour Gaza", we took legal action against the Belgian State to have it honor its commitments under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. These legal actions have proven to be an additional effective and productive means to push Wallonia, Brussels and Belgium to respect their international commitments and to stop exporting (or allowing the transit of) war materiel to countries that do not respect human rights. Since 2016 these actions have multiplied and the catastrophic international situation will require keeping up the pressure in the future. These actions have a significant cost.
