Help us provide an education to the children of Casamance and Guinea-Bissau
In October 2024, for more than ten days, we had the privilege of traveling through the villages of Bakel, in eastern Senegal. There we met hundreds of children and families affected by the reality of limited access to education. This project, which is very close to our hearts, was born thanks to Oumar Coulibaly, founder of the association CO Conseil Sportif, a key actor who works every day to facilitate access to education.
A Collective Project for Education
Each year, in June, we organize the Tournoi des Challengers in Le Havre, an event that allows us to collect essential school supplies for these children. Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we were able to collect more than 3 tonnes of school supplies, which we distributed from village to village. With each meeting, with each smile, we measured the crucial importance of education in offering a better future.
A Need Greater Than Our Resources
Unfortunately, in Africa, poverty is often a major obstacle to education. Many families cannot afford to send their children to school, lacking the means to buy school supplies. Although we did our best to meet the needs, we had to let some children leave empty-handed. Heavy-hearted, we promised to return the following year with even more means to help them.
Our Goal for 2025: Support 1,500 Children 🎒
In 2025, our goal is to provide school supplies to 1,500 enrolled children and to enable as many non-enrolled children to begin their educational journey. For only €20, you can give a child a full year of school supplies.
€20 = 1 Child equipped for the school year!
A donation of €15 to €20 allows each child to receive a backpack, notebooks, pens and everything needed to learn and grow with dignity. Your contribution, even modest, will change a child’s daily life and offer new prospects.
