Synopsis: When the young singer Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) is discovered by the shady Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), it marks the start of a success story. Elvis is turned by the carnival manager into the attraction of a touring show across the USA and soon becomes a superstar. The idiosyncratic dance moves of Elvis, who grew up on blues and gospel music, send his female fans into ecstasy but also anger the moral guardians.
