Your generosity funds the majority of our association's activity.
The Coopérative Chibanis allocates the funds raised to all of its missions to ensure we support seniors in their aging experience and break their social isolation. The Coopérative Chibanis also works for caregivers and families, offering them support and acting as a liaison with institutions and local actors.

🗣 "When we went to Brussels, a woman told us that her husband had promised to take her to a restaurant and that he died before keeping his promise. Since then, she had never gone... It had been more than twenty years! You can imagine our emotion..." Abdelhalim, volunteer.
🗣 "I have no one here, I never married. In Algeria I took care of my little brothers when my father died, I took charge of them. I came to France when I was 40. Since then, I am alone, without family, I only have friends but I grow old alone and fend for myself. I'm 89 years old and I feel I don't have much time left." A Chibani living in an unfit housing whom we helped rehouse.
🗣 "A Chibania impressed us because, being limited in her mobility, that day we wanted to adapt the route for her but in the end we didn't need to: she felt so good that she passed everyone with her walker, she was so proud that she asked us to take photos of her to show her children!" 🗣 "We went out, we saw something different from our routine, it removed some of our anxiety, we feel better" Fatima, participant.
🗣 "It does me good to see people. All my days are the same and sometimes I go days without seeing anyone, thank goodness you are there!" Zahra, participant.
🗣 "I prefer to come to the association for my paperwork, you understand what I say, sometimes when I go elsewhere I don't understand anything and they don't understand me either" A senior.
🗣 "I'm used to cooking vegetables but the ones I get thanks to you have real flavor, they're nothing like the ones I buy." A member.
