Assalam Alaykoum dear brothers, dear sisters 🤲
We have entered the most precious nights of the year.
Nights when believers draw closer to the Quran, read it, reflect on it and hope to understand every verse.
But while we turn its pages, thousands of Muslims who are blind simply dream of being able to read it.
They also long to discover its verses, to understand their meaning and to learn them… but for lack of Qur'ans in Braille, this precious connection remains inaccessible to them.
It is for them that, for nearly 10 years now, we have launched each year the fundraiser for the Ramadan Challenge.
This year again, Al hamdoulillah, we are here to support a cause that is particularly close to our hearts: making the Quran accessible to people who are blind.
Because even today, thousands of people who are blind simply dream of being able to read the Quran, in order to understand its meaning, learn it and reflect on it.
Unfortunately, opportunities remain very limited to offer them independent reading. In 2026, there are still more than 6,000 people who are blind on waiting lists… a number that keeps growing.
A Quran in Braille, in Arabic or in French, costs more than €300.
It is a set of 7 volumes weighing nearly 10 kg, specially designed to allow tactile reading.
✅ Last year, thanks to your mobilization, we managed to raise €171,027 during the Ramadan Challenge 2025, enabling us to fund 570 Braille Qur'ans.
The goal this year, as in previous editions, is to go even further.
Thanks to your donations, these Qur'ans can be given free of charge to people who have sometimes been waiting for them for years.
