CHALLENGE 2020
As-salamu alaykum everyone,
Hello everyone,
In this difficult period when a virus was able to paralyze the world, we must acknowledge how lucky we are to be able to be here...
We were confined for 55 days and we have all lost at least one person in our close or distant circles.
But today we are here and we can read this message — do we have the certainty we will be able to do so tomorrow? That we will not ourselves be forced tomorrow to register on a waiting list to be able to read the Qur'an?
Each year for seven years now during Ramadan, I ask for your help to fund Qur'ans in Braille for blind people.
A Qur'an in Braille is a box of 7 volumes weighing nearly 10 kilos.
The association Institut Paris Eglantine, thanks to your donations, manages to give Qur'ans in Braille FREE OF CHARGE.
More than 2600 people are still on the waiting list!!
Last year we managed together to raise more than 16000 euros via the fundraiser.
Moreover, with the 2018 donations the association kept its word and purchased a Braille printer, allowing us since that date to manufacture our Qur'ans in Braille in French in France.
The first Qur'ans were manufactured and offered, Alhamdulillah.
A Qur'an in Braille costs more than 300 euros...
Today, there still remain far too many blind people on the waiting list...
You must help them, I must help them, We must help them!!!
That is why every contribution will be important: 5, 10, 100, 300, 380 euros, it doesn't matter as long as you help them with your heart and according to your means...
I do not need to remind you that the Qur'an is OUR BOOK, it is the fundamental pillar of our beautiful religion and it pains me to think that during this holy month of Ramadan, more than 2600 people are still on the waiting list and will not be able to read it....

During the Challenge 2019 we raised 16216 euros; for the Challenge 2020 we are therefore aiming for 17000 euros Insha'Allah!
