On 24 October, Georges Abdallah will begin his 40th year of detention.
No request for his release has been granted to date, despite two release decisions pronounced by a Sentence Enforcement Tribunal. No expulsion order that would condition his release has been signed by the Minister of the Interior in office.
On Saturday 21 October, we will return for the 13th time to demand the release of our Comrade, who filed his tenth request for release-deportation to his country, Lebanon, on 8 June.
Last year, at the same time, Georges Abdallah wrote:
"Comrades and friends, the various acts of solidarity you have developed in this international campaign over the past month deliver a sharp rebuttal to those who were betting on your mobilization running out of steam."
This year, let us be even more numerous and determined to take the Paris–Lannemezan coach to shout loud and clear in front of Lannemezan prison:
"Georges Abdallah, your comrades are here!"
