At only 29 years old, Samba was seriously injured while he had simply come to work. Today, he needs our solidarity.
On Friday, October 23, 2026, at around 10:30 a.m., Samba was near the pharmacie du Bois-de-l'Étang, in La Verrière, in the Yvelines.
An employee of a cleaning company, he was working in the area of a school with his colleague Ibrahima.
It should have been an ordinary workday. But in a few moments, everything changed.
During the attack that struck Trappes and La Verrière, Samba was hit by multiple bullets and was very seriously injured.
Taken in critical condition, he was transported to the hôpital européen Georges-Pompidou in Paris.
According to the latest information communicated by the organizers of the mobilization, Samba is still hospitalized and remains in a coma.
Behind this tragedy is a young man whose life has been brutally turned upside down, and loved ones who are going through moments of anguish and uncertainty.
In these circumstances, every act of solidarity can count. A fundraising campaign has been launched for this purpose.
The goal is to provide him with concrete financial assistance, notably to contribute to expenses related to his hospitalization, his care and his support, according to his needs and those that will be identified during his recovery.
Beyond material aid, this fundraiser is also a way to send him a strong message: Samba, we do not forget you.
The attack has upended several lives. Each of the victims deserves our attention, our support and our solidarity.
Samba had simply come to earn his living, honestly, by doing his job. Nothing could justify that he be targeted in this way.
