You know me — I'm a professional photographer, I work for the press, for brands and in publishing, and I've made a living from my passion for over 12 years.
Last night, I was going to do something I love: meet alumni from my school, talk about my job to hopeful students, spend an evening of exchange and good spirits.
My car was parked outside, the windows tinted, an unidentifiable travel case was in the back. It contained accessories for my activity. Someone thought it was a good opportunity.
What was stolen:
A Gitzo tripod — a career purchase, the one you choose once and for all
An Arca‑Swiss ball head — an indispensable precision tool for my daily work
Various professional accessories including Profoto stands and light modifiers, and lots of small gear.
Nearly 4 000 € of equipment.
It's not just equipment. I built myself with this. Every assignment, every client, every image. It literally carried my work.
If you'd like to give me a hand to replace it quickly (without it I can't work), I will be sincerely grateful. Every donation counts, and a share is worth gold. 🙏
Thank you, truly.
