**APPEAL FOR DONATIONS FROM THE SENEGALESE DIASPORA AGAINST COVID-19 IN SENEGAL
(DIASPORA AND XEEX CORONAVIRUS)**
Faced with the coronavirus epidemic, Senegalese health professionals are fighting with courage and determination to save our lives. However, they must operate within a healthcare system often confronted with multiple difficulties in patient care.
In this context, citizens of the Senegalese diaspora are launching an appeal for generosity to meet the current needs of hospitals and healthcare workers on the front lines of the epidemic. Protecting them means protecting the patients, and therefore saving our lives and those of our loved ones.
This call for donations may, depending on the amount raised, make it possible to:
purchase personal protective equipment and disinfectant products,
purchase medical equipment to improve care in Senegalese hospitals,
fund, if necessary, the travel of healthcare personnel from the diaspora to provide assistance in Senegal.
For transparency, the organizers of this initiative will provide regular reports on all contributions and their destinations.
NB: The management of this appeal for donations is ensured by the association Diaspora Santé Sénégal, in partnership with Senegalese citizens of the diaspora and the association NISPHAO (New Initiative for the Health and Prosperity of the Inhabitants of West Africa).
