"GEMINA ELISABETH KONGA, aged 21, is a Central African student in her third year of medical school in Morocco. She has a tumor of the membranes of the brain, also called a meningioma, which led to a first operation last summer (2021) at the personal expense of her modest parents; her situation today appears even more critical and urgently requires a new surgical intervention costing 2500 €. Financially limited, she and her family cannot cover this, so the Association of Central African Students in France (AECAF) has decided to launch a solidarity fundraiser to support this colleague, friend, sister and compatriot in her suffering. We dare to believe that her health and survival in this situation will depend primarily on the generosity and fraternity of us, her fellow students, within a network of selfless charity. This situation is a true challenge to test our commitment to solidarity and mutual support among us students of the Central African diaspora. Moved solely by concern for the survival of a young person full of life and promise, we therefore implore your generosity and charity to help our sister and give her a chance to live and continue her studies.
Every small donation from you counts and will be enough to lift this young soul sinking under the weight of illness.
Appealing to your good faith, may Heaven bless your charity."
